Seniors - a career training opportunity in firefighting

Resident Firefighters Program

The Douglas County Fire District #2 is providing an outstanding opportunity for an individual interested in a firefighting career. The Fire District provides housing and they even reimburse 80-100% (dependent on proof of grades) of a two year Fire Science degree through Wenatchee Valley College.  They will be conducting a competitive testing process in the late spring and filling at least four resident positions slated for August 2018.
