•   Mock Trial had a solid Black Team Practice Sunday at the Library, with Maria and Corinne as guests. Let's meet Monday, 5pm, at the Courthouse to introduce what we  are arguing, HOW we're proving in, and the stories that tie it together. Then be ready to call witnesses!

•   Redhawk Mentor Meeting - Tuesday 11/20 in Ms. Lysa's room.  Let's get stuff planned!

•   Cat Shirt Day is Wednesday! If you have a cat shirt, wear it to school!

•   A representative from the Job Corps will be at PTHS on Friday, November 30th, during our 7th period (2:00 - 2:55), to do a presentation for interested students about the opportunities in Job Corp.  We will hold the presentation in classroom A-202.  Students are encouraged to attend, with permission from their 7th period teacher.

Attendance will be taken.

•   The next Lunch at your Library is Wednesday, November 21 at 11 am. You will learn how to “wet felt”. Sign up with Su in the library. The event is limited to 25 people.

•   The ASVAB has been rescheduled for Friday, November 30th at 8:15 in the Library. This career aptitude test is open to students in 10th-12th grade.

 •   Any student who is interested in performing the National Anthem for HS Varsity Basketball Games please see Mr. Ferland.  Vocalists or instrumentalists are welcome to apply.

•   Redhawk waterbottles are on sale in the ASB Office for $10 each. This is a sophomore fundraiser. The water bottles are BHA free!

•   Tutoring for freshmen and sophomores is available Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library after school until 4 pm. Subject being covered are freshmen English 9 and Health; sophomore’s Biology for Ms. Hageman’s classes and Mr. Kelley’s science. Bring all necessary papers, notebooks and a pencil. Tutors are Paraeducators Emily Zenz and Michael McKell.

•   Snow Sports sign ups & registration are coming on Saturday, December 1, from 9 – 11 am at the PT Rec Center. Forms and more info are on the table in the hall outside the Main Office.

•   You can purchase a yearbook at the ASB Office for $50 through Friday, December 7th.  They will go on sale again on May 13th for $62. Orders yours soon and save some money!

•   Meditation every week Thursday and Friday mornings, 7:50-8:05 in room M-308. The door is open, drop in and sit for a few minutes. 


•     The cap and rental gown group order is due on December 15th. You can bring your completed order form and payment to Jan in the office or mail it off yourself.

•     Seniors! Yearbook is looking for young child or baby photos from the class of 2019. Send in ones you like to and you may be featured in the yearbook.

•     Yearbook deadlines:

  • Deadline for Senior Tributes (previously called "Grad Ads") is Friday, Dec. 7th
  • Deadline for Senior mugs is Friday, January 11th
  • Yearbooks are $50 till December 7th

•     Senior Ladies: College scholarship help will be available 7th period in the Library on Friday, November 30th, and again on Friday, December 14th. Forrest Norlin from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be here to discuss available scholarships for women and how to apply.

•   Need help with college applications?Financial aid? Registering for the SAT or ACT? Mrs. Gard and Ms. Dow will be available for college help in the Library after school on Tuesdays.
