Hello to all youth and families of youth,

I am Susan Bone O’Brien, Family Nurse Practitioner at the School Based Health Center at the Gael Stuart Building at the High School. Together with Megan Smith, Mental Health Counselor, we provide services for the students at Port Townsend Middle and High Schools.

Our doors are now open!

Serving students with the following options, observing COVID19-safe practices:

·       Telehealth (video or phone appointments)

·       In-person appointments, as needed

 Mental Health services - Megan Smith,
Mental Health Counselor

Tuesday - 8 am - 11:30 am
Thursday - 12 noon - 3:00 pm
Friday - 8 am - 3:00 pm

For medical services the SBHC bills private insurance, Apple Health, or Medicaid, and offer a sliding fee scale. SBHC mental health services are funded by Jefferson Co. Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Tax (1/10th of 1% of local sales tax) under a contract with Jefferson Mental Health Service. SBHC does not currently bill for mental health services.

Need health insurance? Our staff will evaluate your qualifications for Apple Health, a state insurance program that provides medical, dental, and vision benefits.

No student will be turned away due to inability to pay.
