Class of 2020 Schedule & Info

This is the page for all of your due dates and information you will need for your senior year. Check back to make sure you don't miss the things you will need to know. Following are important items for you, as a senior at Port Townsend High School.

The cap and gown package, that comes with a tassel and includes the diploma and diploma cover in the package price, was due on December 15Everyone who is participating in graduation needs to order a grad package. We are using rental gowns that are returned immediately after graduation at final checkout in the chapel.

If you did not order your cap and gown package, you can go online to order. All you need is the cap and gown package, but you can also order announcements and other graduation products:

You can get a red or white gown. If you want red, select "Male" for gender; if you want white, select "Female" for gender.

SENIOR TRIBUTES: The deadline for Senior Tributes has been extended to Friday, February 7th, 2020. Don't miss this deadline.

This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting senior photos is Tuesday, January 14, 2020.  Please don’t wait until the last minute to make an appointment with a photographer. If you don’t turn a picture in, we will use your school ASB photo ID, if you had one taken, or the Yearbook staff can take your picture.  Also, as our deadline approaches, we will usually post a list of every senior and whether or not we will be using your school photo, your submitted photo, or whether we NEED a photo from you. Remember, it is your responsibility to get us your senior photo either by attending one of the three school picture days or by submitting a photo that adheres to the requirements below:

Picture requirements:

  • Turn in sharp photos (completely in focus, 200-300 dpi)
  • Use a non-distracting background
  • Please keep frame to head and chest only. Hands in the photo tend to make pictures look cluttered. Leave some space above the top of the head and to each side as shown in the example below so we can crop the photo if needed. We WILL NOT ACCEPT photos that also contain pets (dogs, cats, horses, lizards, etc.), hats, flags, guns, clothing that is not school appropriate, etc.  This is a photo of YOU and your photo should not distract from the others on the page. We do have other pages (“students at work”, “students outside of school”, and “summer activities”) that provide you the chance to submit these types of photos for consideration.
  • Inform your photographer that picture dimensions will be approximately 2.5x3 inches.

Please turn in your photo to the yearbook staff in digital form, if possible. Photographers should send a digital copy to the following four people:
