This special edition of Redhawks News celebrates the PTHS Class of 2026. Below, you’ll find highlights from Scholarship Night and the Walk of Fame, along with important information about the Serpentine Parade and the graduation livestream. Thank you for all of your support for the class of 2026!

The Class of 2026 will make its way through Port Townsend during the annual Graduation Serpentine Parade on Thursday, June 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Community members are invited to line the route, wave, cheer, and help celebrate our graduating seniors as they travel with their families to the commencement ceremony. It’s a wonderful Port Townsend tradition and one more chance for our community to show the Class of 2026 how proud we are of them.

For family members, friends, and community members who are unable to attend in person, the PTHS Class of 2026 commencement ceremony will once again be livestreamed.

Last night, PTHS seniors, families, and community members gathered to celebrate the Class of 2026 and the incredible generosity of our community.

Scholarship Night is always one of the most meaningful evenings of the year. Local organizations, service clubs, foundations, families, and individuals came together to support students as they prepare for college, technical training, and the many paths they will take after graduation.

These scholarships recognize students for their academic achievement, leadership, service, creativity, perseverance, and future goals. Just as importantly, they show our students how many people in this community believe in them and want to help them succeed.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients. Thank you to every person and organization that helped make this evening possible.

Earlier today, members of the Class of 2026 proudly put on their caps and gowns for the first time and took part in the annual Walk of Fame.

The seniors walked the halls of PTHS, Blue Heron, and Salish Coast, where students and staff lined the way to cheer them on. They finished the day with one last turn under the parachutes in PE, bringing back a few memories from their elementary school years.

It was a special moment for our graduates and a chance for younger students to celebrate them, look ahead, and imagine the day when it will be their turn.

Jefferson Healthcare is partnering with Chimacum and Port Townsend high schools to provide complimentary baseline testing for all student athletes using the Sports Concussion Assessment Tool prior to the start of 2026 Fall sports.

Baseline testing is a crucial assessment tool used to ensure the highest quality care can be provided if a student athlete experiences a sport-related concussion.

Students can receive their complimentary baseline test this August at Jefferson Healthcare. Testing will be administered by a team of highly trained physical therapists that specialize in concussion rehabilitation. Students should select an available time and allot 15-20 minutes for their appointment.

Jefferson Healthcare is excited to be partnering with the East Jefferson Rival Athletics department to provide this valuable healthcare assessment. If you have any additional questions about our concussion services, we encourage you to reach out to our outpatient rehabilitation department.
